Businessmen and trade unionists in the health sector began this afternoon one of the most complex joint ventures of the year: both parties are going through a critical situation in the midst of the pandemic. The representatives of the business chambers, grouped in the Argentine Federation of Health Providers (FAPS), posed to the union leaders of the Federation of Argentine Health Workers (FATSA) the problems they have as a result of “Delay in the values of benefits and cost increases suffered by the sector during 2020, a gap that represents a delay in tariffs close to 50%”, which left many companies “at the limit of subsistence”, as they warned.
The trade unionists argued that “They will not allow” the salary to lose to inflation and that’s why they claimed update the remuneration of the parity agreed in 2020 by completing the amounts that had been granted up to March.
